“We stayed one night but it was a lovely chalet and would make a good base for walking etc The reception had a good choice for breakfast and a selection of pre made evening meals to purchase.”

The only fault of the hotel (which is lovely Art Deco style - slightly faded grandeur) is the food. Don’t pay the extra for breakfast - just go out to a cafe nearby (e.g. the one at Hotel Saint Saveur, one minute away) and have an omelette. So much cheaper and tasty too.
