Conveniently located next to the bus station and metro, the Illunion San Mamés is an excellent hotel: modern rooms, clean, and they have the best bidet toilets on the market. I spent 11 nights there, and you can't go wrong.

Holiday Inn Express Bilbao by IHG
It is a convenient hotel if you have an early flight on a holiday and you don’t want to risk it. Otherwise the city is 15 min away from the airport. Sonia at the reception was very helpful and nice. The van available every 15 min is very convenient as well.
