It’s the way it is. I wasn’t feeling great told to go downstairs to buy one at the bar. If was up to it of course I would. Understand how tight it is with staff but I think if for emergencies only if customers aren’t feeling up to it, then send a bottle of water and a small thing to eat A lot if senior citizens were there this time of year and have different health issues I was willing to to pay. It’s not the hotels fault. It’s just the way things have gotten Otherwise I’d rate this place 5 plus stars"

"Beautiful traditional style hotel with the most lovely staff - we had a sea view room (recommended) - no balcony but that was fine. The breakfast was consistently very good quality and varied enough to have something different each day. Pool area was clean with comfy beds and a few steps away from the pebble beach for a swim in sea. Overall we had a lovely stay and would recommend this hotel for anyone considering a stay in a building with character and lovely friendly staff. Thank you."
