"Beautiful hotel and steps away from the train station but fear not - you will not notice. Take a close look at Google Maps when you depart Kyoto Station and you will see an alley that you can walk through to put you on the street with the hotel. We made the mistake of walking across the street then doubling back when in fact you could make the trek in no time. Staff is incredibly helpful and the breakfast buffet is pretty good. My daughters stayed in the Japanese Suite and I was in a standard king. No complaints about either room. Very easy to get a cab or Uber at the hotel or of course walk back to the train station."
