An amazing drive is route 86. Its full of fall colors and scenic spots to view the colors. It is also a great route to hike the small mountains of the Adirondacks. Worth a visit and enjoying a sunny day.

While hiking to the top of Whiteface Mountain, it takes about 3,5 hours at a regular pace from the very bottom.
The road to #BoreasPonds has just recently been opened to foot traffic after the 22,000 acre tract of land was purchased by NYS. The walk in is fairly boring and can be grueling on a hot, buggy day, but the view of the ponds is spectacular. Now let's hope Gov. Cuomo designates this area as Wilderness #Adirondacks
After a chairlift and elevator to the top of the ski jump, a beautiful view!!!!
