“We had items go missing from our room. We had put the do not disturb sign on the door while we were gone during the day. Someone entered our room and went thru our bags. The place is not what it appears on expedia and staff was rude. No coffee in rooms. TV is difficult to navigate.”

“Wonderful place, but find food elsewhere if you're looking for friendly, really tuned off by the rudeness of the staff at the tavern.”

“Nice room”

“Beautiful!”

“Good”

“The room looked better in the online photos when I booked. Our room had no curtains and the bathroom did not look like the one pictured either. Having said that the room was spacious, very clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable. The bath products are quality Beekman products. A suggestion would be to have some bathroom shelves to set toiletries on. We would stay here again.”

“The rooms were super clean and nice views. Staff was great.”

“Roof top bar with views was the highlight! Staff is really nice and helpful. Room was clean and comfy. Superb location!”

“Stay away from this hotel. Only good things were the towels and hot water plus the TV worked. Not very clean, hard beds with thin blanket. no staff on premise, NO HEAT in 33’ weather. The door was a fire hazard as I could not open it at all and my husband had a difficult time also. If there had been a fire not sure I would have made it out if I was the only one staying there. VERY run down but supposedly going to be done over. Don’t know how other reviewers who gave it a good rating could...

“We have been staying here for 20+ years. The service is always excellent, the resort is in a prime location, most rooms have lake views. Cozy fires in the lobby during the fall & winter. The resort properties are, however, starting to show their age. The Lake House needs a makeover.”

“It was very clean. No smells. Room was ready upon arrival.”
