"Property was very nice. Older hotel but clearly renovated after hurricane. Plenty of options for food and drink. Overall, the prices were fair and we would have enjoyed our stay much more if we’d been able to sleep. My understanding is that there was an emergency repair needed so between 1:00am and 5:00am all we heard was banging and drilling. Then we got out of bed to no water. Front desk literally looked at my husband who went to ask about the water and was ignored. Women looked at him and turned her back while laughing and talking on the phone. It could have been a guest so a little grace is given. However, when we checked out and were asked about our stay I mentioned the noise and lack of sleep. Same women said, we had emergency repair. There was no apology, nothing. While I understand things happen, empathy goes a long way and front desk staff should be trained appropriately to manage these situations. Would I stay again? Yes because otherwise it was nice. Just disappointed in front desk staff. "

"Beautiful property right on the beach. We had a balcony facing the beach that was well equipped with two lounge chairs and a table and chairs. The umbrellas and chairs on the beach were complimentary for guests, which we appreciated. "

"Newly constructed, pristine hotel. I was most worried about the valet but it was super easy. Note they do add resort fees and valet fees at check out. I would stay here again! Pool and beach area are great!! "

"Good location if you want to be away from public area. Be prepared to set up your own chairs and umbrellas on the beach, they provide them but you have to set up. Found a hair ball in the bathroom, otherwise room and resort was clean. They could use some hooks to hang suits and towels. They also had two grills and bikes to use. Nice spot for a few days. "

"We have stayed at Matanzas Inn twice and both stays were very positive. It is well located. The rooms were clean, and well maintained. Hope to stay there again next year. "

"Great and quiet location. Small room and needed updating but was clean. Pool was clean and enjoyed it. The hot tub was cloudy and questionable. The beach location was fantastic and private. If you want to see dolphins and get some shelling in, this is perfect. There are low tide pools when you walk to the left facing the beach. Full fridge and microwave are a plus. Be prepared with ground coffee as there was no K cup in our unit. Easy parking. Publix down the road but you will need to drive to restaurants and be prepared to park valet. We will be visiting again for some R&R."

"Beautiful and clean hotel. It had an amazing breakfast included and staff on hand keeping everything full and clean. They have a coffee/espresso machine (2) that are free all day I was uncertain how coffee would taste but its fabulous! Had an Americano every morning! The room was big and had a kitchenette w a full size fridge, stovetop and dishes. The pool is nice and beach is right there. Amazing water view from our balcony. 10/10! Just do it!"
