“Booked a two night, weekend stay. the “property” is an abandoned vessel moored about 200 yards off shore accessible by watercraft only. No running water. ‘Water provided’ for personal hygiene and sanitary uses consisted of six sixteen ounce bottles and one 1 gallon jug half full. The onboard toilet was inoperable and ‘maintenance’ never arrived to remedy the situation. Spent the first night with the smell of human waste in the air. “Awesome place! Such a cool way to book a hotel. The only thing I would change is just that when someone reserved the houseboat…whoever is texting the tenant could let them know which dock spot it’s in at the time. I accidentally stepped onto a similar boat and the people staying there were like HEY WHAT ARE YOU DOING and I said IM SO SORRY I GOT THE WRONG BOAT WHERE IS THE EMERALD COAST 😂 Other than that…everything is great! Will definitely be renting this houseboat or other houseboats again! ”

“We enjoyed the boat so very much. My boyfriend enjoyed fishing off the front of the boat, I enjoyed sunbathing from the double wide lounger on the top deck and the incredible office area allowed me to do online school work (I was studying for a final the entire week while on board). We used the provided motor boat to go into town to pick up fresh groceries to grill on the top deck each evening, to visit a local bar, and even spend a day at pier 60. For me Lazy Parrot offered the respite that I needed after dealing with the repercussions of Hurricane Ian in my Fort Myers Beach area.
