Top Exeter Hotel Reviews
White Hart, Exeter by Marston's Inns
10/10 Excellent
"The room was comfortable. The bathroom was a little tired but ok. Staff were helpful I didn't eat in so can't comment to about food. Just used the hotel as a place to sleep. Parking was very useful and seemed secure. Would stay again."
The Devon Hotel

"Really lovely hotel and staff were wonderful! Food in the restaurant was also great and we shared a number of starters which had a lovely Greek twist the pomegranate dressing on the halloumi was exceptional Easy access to major routes and the city so a good spot for visiting Exeter."
Holiday Inn Express Exeter East by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Great for a stopover stay. Rooms are clean and have what’s needed (and will take 4 as a teenager family). Decent breakfast. And staff are more friendly and helpful than you’d expect for a budget hotel. Decent price so happy all round."
Mercure Exeter Southgate Hotel
8/10 Good
"Wished they had a family room or at least put our two rooms together with an inside door."
The Telstar
8/10 Good
"Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was free! Breakfast was great - loved the sausages! The road was a little noisy but we did have window open and we were a bit warm despite there being a little fan in room. Great location as was walkable to city centre, train station and the quayside. Would recommend"
Queens Court Hotel
8/10 Good
"The room was very dusty. We complained and the receptionist was great, she went straight to the room straightaway to dust the surfaces."
The Gissons Hotel

"Great over night stay Very comfortable room"
Holiday Inn Express Exeter - City Centre by IHG
8/10 Good
"Check in and check out was smoothe . Room was clean and very comfortable. Charlotte at reception was extremely helpful in advising me of places around the area to grab dinner. Did not fancy the free breakfast, crossaints were stale and scrambled eggs were lacking in taste. Good location, a 10-15 min walk from the high street area, and less than 10 min walk to the quay area where there are many restaurants. Overall, I would recommend this hotel."
St Andrews Hotel
8/10 Good
"Nice independent hotel. As others have mentioned the noise from the road is so loud and constant. But if you have some decent ear plugs that shouldn't stop you staying here. Great location for dinner at the Quay and free parking. O ly slight downside was having to pay £10 for a lost room card whilst standing watching them put a newpiece of plastic in the machine to allocate to room. This shouldn't really be £10 as the rooms are probably expensive enough. I'd probably stay again but mainly because of the location and parking. Staff are pleasant enough. Breakfast ok - altho the sausages were as cheap as chips."
