“Wonderful guest house in great location overlooking the beach. Free parking in front of the guest house and opposite the coop. Great room and delicious freshly cooked breakfast. Couldn’t believe we saw seals in the harbour and a great place for scuba diving.”

“I booked this cottage through Expedia and received confirmation that my reservation was confirmed. I travelled around 300 miles from the south of England, while my elderly parents travelled from the north so we could meet there for a family break. On the day of arrival, I never received the promised key-safe information. After contacting Expedia, they were initially unable to locate my booking. I eventually obtained access details from a neighbour, only to discover that the property was occupied...

“The property was good, upside down property, set in a lovely harbour town. Locals friendly. Amazing ice cream shop. The attached fish and chip shop was very busy too. Parking was roadside, not guaranteed, opposite the property. We arrived at the end of the Herring Queen Festival, which was packed out. We struggled to even unload, but obviously that wasn't something we knew about prior to booking. After that had finished, parking wasn't really a problem. A few niggles with property but it didn't...

“We enjoyed our stay at Newcastle Arms hotel plenty parking space, nice room compact but adequate ,very clean , plenty of tea and coffee amenities.breakfast was excellent so much choice and the black pudding was second to none, the staff were so friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a reasonably priced break.”
