A clean hotel in a good location. The room was clean, and although the shower and bathroom were quite small, they were very clean as well.
We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which was included in our stay. The breakfast hours were quite extensive, which was great as it allowed guests to enjoy their vacation without having to rush down early in the morning.
The gym was quite basic, but it was also mostly empty, so it was easy to use.
Overall, the hotel offers great value for money and is a very good choice in terms of quality and price. Of all the hotels I stayed in Portugal (I stayed in 2 other ones, one in Lisbon and one in Porto), Dom Carlos was the best.
