“Loved our ocean view room at a reasonable rate. Room was simple but clean. Great wifi! Breakfast was appreciated. Hot tub and pool were also appreciated! We used the laundry which was super helpful. Definitely go down to the beach to explore the caves. We thought the stairs at the park nearby were easier to navigate than the ones on property.”
“Room clean and cute art on the wall. Pillows were AMAZING!! Bed was comfy. The only drawback to the room we were in (I believe 215) was that it face the hotel sign. So all night long our room was lit up like HIGH NOON!! Another weird thing is check-in is not at this hotel, its at the one a half mile up the road. “As others have noted, this is an older motel that’s been nicely upgraded and made unique. We stayed in the Under The Sea room (#2). It’s small, but I’ve seen smaller in boutique hotels in NY. The bed and pillows are comfy, there’s great amenities (Keurig coffee maker, etc.), and it’s not too noisy. No AC, but there is a small fan, and the windows have screens. For us, it was a nice overnight stop on our way to the Redwoods from Seattle. Would definitely stay again.”
