“Our room was next to the breakfast area. Also not enough seating inside for breakfast. Seated outside patio with heater but given temp of 55f - was too cold.”

“The apartment is in the center, very close to bars, so on the weekends expect to have problems with sleep (thin walls give you the impression that you are partying outside). On our first night we couldn't sleep until 5am. Apart from that, the apartment is good and the staff are helpful”

“Such a great and cozy hostel! My first experience staying in a hostel, and it definitely put the bar high! Tonny, Catalina, Emily and all the staff were super nice and kind. Would recommend staying here for sure! :)”

“I really enjoyed my stay at Son of a Beach Hostel! I had the private single room on the main floor. The entire hostel was very clean, and both my room and the common areas were decorated really cute with lots of fun, quirky touches. There’s also a nice outdoor patio/hangout area. The location is fantastic if you want to stay in Old Town. The beach is very close, and restaurants, bars and shops are literally steps away. “Breakfast was great!”
