“I really tried to like this place, but cannot recommend the gatekeepers house. It doesnt match the price point. Two-way communication was non-existent, got emails directly from them and through hotels.com, but never a response when replying. Oh well, we got in regardless. Hiccup? The place itself is a step up from glamping. The pool is the only redeeming element. It's clean & worked well for our family. Ants? yup, but not sure what they could do about it, your in the middle of a vineyard....

“After checking in and receiving directions to this apartment, the staff member admitted they had never been to this rental before and couldn’t give us better or more specific instructions. It took us a while to find and once we did, we couldn’t park at the building because the lot required a parking code we didn’t receive. No problem we were only passing through for one night so we parked at the lot behind it and carried our suitcases because rolling them wasn’t possible due to the streets...

“Schönes Haus mit mehreren Terrassen und weitem Ausblick. Die ganze Quinta ist ein herrlicher Garten mit vielen Pflanzen und Plätzen zum Entspannen. Sehr zu empfehlen, aber aufgrund der steilen Wege sollte man einigermaßen gut zu Fuß sein. Idalecio ist ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Schade dass wir nur drei Tage hier waren. ”

“When I read reviews about this resort someone said the photos don’t do it justice as it’s much nicer, and oh boy is that true! This is such a beautiful place, with attention to every little detail and a great resort to relax and enjoy the Portuguese sun. You can tell how much effort goes into maintaining the great variety of plants. I’d say the resort suits everyone like couples, a group of friends and families.
