"The location of the property is ideal close to Old town and other attractions. The main entrance is a bit confusing with the cars coming in and out. Getting picked up and dropped off was a bit inconvenient. The breakfast was a hit slow so we were not able to eat anything for breakfast because it was a bit slow. Go with enough time. Otherwise property was clean and the rooms where a comfortable. "

"Weve been to this resort twice now, we do enjoy it. The restaurants are a little pricey but thats to be expected at a resort, there is a mall behind the resort in walking distance with some good options for food to!. My kids love the pool area & with the waterslide it is a fun extra & the lawn games/activities they do is great! The rooms feel a little small but decently clean , the beds/pillows are comfy, my only real absolute worst thing I hate about the rooms is their shower set up in the bathroom it does not have a closing door or curtain its only half covered by glass & then open so especially with kids the entire bathroom floor just gets absolutely soaked & it is just so gross to have a soaking wet bathroom floor, I kept requesting extra towels to keep putting all over the floor/wiping up the floor. Its just an ick bad design in my opinion. The staff is very nice & helpful."

"The Jacuzzi was broken, no jets, the staff was rude (they give you a piece of paper that says how many are attending the Continental breakfast- I woke up at 6am my daughter slept in. I tried to go to the breakfast to get coffee and they kept insisting that I give them the piece of paper. I finally left without coffee until my daughter got up to join me. Went to take a shower, grabbed a towel off the rack to dry off and it was covered in ants."

"Eric experience with the Kings Inn was very positive. The room was spacious, very clean, plenty of towels. The cute retro refrigerator was nice, and the bed was comfortable. Guests received a 10% discount at the two different restaurants, and the pool and hot tub were very nice. The location was great, very close to the airport and San Diego sights, and there’s a cute little town just up the hill with lots of restaurants and bars. One thing my wife, especially liked was that the bathroom lighting was excellent, as by comparison, some hotels have poor lighting in the bathroom in order to put on makeup, etc. Parking was plentiful, but was $15 a day. That seemed a little high. This is an excellent tourist hotel, great for kids, and affordable. Overall, a great experience. We would definitely stay here again!"

"I would not have stayed here knowing it was used as a shelter for the house less. The breakfast was horrible, the room was dark, the outlet plugs didn't hold a charge for my electronics. The shower would get you wet since the door opened on the opposite side. The microwave was old and need of replacement. You need to call each day for someone to clean your room. My key did not work. So each day I had to walk to the lobby for a new key. I will never stay there again. "

"Your staff was the only reason that I didn’t stay longer. My trip to San Diego was considerably longer. My reservation was for one day, but within 15 minutes of checking in, I was looking for another hotel to stay at."
