"Floors were dirty. So keep your socks on. The iron didn’t work so when they brought it e we were cautioned to not go barefoot, but we already had noticed they were dirty. The reasoning was that the floors hadn’t been sealed so they couldn’t be mopped? A dust mopped or wet swingers could have worked ..."
