“When I got off the taxi in the quiet, early morning and dragged my suitcase down the steep hills, my very first impression was that the area looked a bit dirty. While waiting after ringing the bell, I felt a mix of anticipation and anxiety. However, the staff's kindness and warm hospitality completely changed my mood for the better. After leaving our luggage and sightseeing downtown, we entered our assigned room. The moment I saw the view outside the window, I realized I didn't need anything...

“This was a delightful guesthouse in a great location. Each room is themed to a classic movie and director (we were on the top floor in the Vertigo room!) and the rooms are comfortable and clean. If you don’t mind climbing stairs, the view is amazing.”

“Wonderful experience. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. Room and bathroom was very clean. Air conditioning was a welcome respite from the heat. Breakfast was a set menu served at your table with a basket of fresh breads, a platter of meats and cheeses, a platter of various fruits, yogurt, and scrambled eggs topped off with a pastry for dessert. With only six rooms to service, each guest was afforded personal attention by the staff including a map and suggestions for things to see...

“A delightful boutique hotel in central Porto. The most wonderful beds! Extremely attentive and courteous staff.”

“The suite was amazing. Air conditioning worked great and the shower has perfect water pressure. The area is very quiet so was just what we needed for a good night sleep. Breakfast in the morning was incredible. My daughter is Gluten Free and lactose intolerant and the made a special breakfast for her. Highly recommend this place!!”

“Rooms were clean and even in a busy area we heard nothing at night.. Breakfast was included in our booking and served… Not a buffet which was nice.. First time in Porto and the staff answered our questions and offered suggestions.. Our airport transfer driver gave us so much information about Porto as well… I would definitely stay here again! Close to the river, shops, restaurants and more”

“Best hotel I’ve been in personally and I’ve been traveling on business quite a few years. Best place will recommend to anyone going to Porto ”
