"Very clean room. Staff is efficient and friendly. We had a great view into the cloud forest. Wish I could have stayed longer but definitely on the list if I rebook. "

Had a great view from room and able to see lots of different wildlife - recommend watching sunset and night tour - was disappointed had to pay additional $20 to hike trail at the top of the hill. Breakfast buffet was ok - traditional Costa Rica breakfast options. Wish the pool bar was opened longer to have time to swim and relax after done with tourist attractions and supper"

"Small and cozy room. You definitely experience nature. They provide helpful activities to do in Monteverde. Wish we had more days there. If you’re planning to zip line in Costa Rica, do it in MonteVerde. The staff were very hospitable and responsive. For breakfast they had buffet style. Options were good. "

"We had a very nice visit the 4 days we stayed. We booked 3 large rooms with Expedia with much better pricing than directly from hotel. The place is charming and peaceful. The cleaning is not consistent and they don’t have enough white towels as I was told to provide everyday. The front desk Diego and Francisco can improve customer service skills. Francisco specially was not very pleasant. I also tried to booked with him for August for an upcoming visit with family and parents but he told me he could not offer rooms or pricing because it was 2 months in advanced. I could easily book on Expedia. Francisco needs some customer service skills. "

"Located on the edge of the main town, greeting was warm and full of smiles which was followed by extensive information on the facilites and of many local excursions - we booked a local night walk which was perfectly managed. Room was compact but roomy enough to relax with a small open balcony. Breakfast was hearty with 4 or 5 options alongside unlimited beverages - local juices recommended. Add in free parking, simply perfect all around"

Well kept grounds boasting a stunning terraced culinary herb garden, including the most aromatic shrubs in a small space. A little bit of paradise nestled in the cool hills of Monteverde. I would definitely recommend the Poco a Poco Hotel and Spa, and I absolutely plan to go back. "
