"We stayed here in May for three days (see our review) and loved it so much we had two nights on our way home in September, just as great. Parking right outside, lovely clean spacious rooms with such comfortable beds, and even though it is in the middle of everything it is quiet so you get a good nights sleep. "Our stay at Comfort Hotel couldnt have been better. The staff were amazing, especially the headmistress. While on the outside you wouldnt know it, the inside was full marble and beautiful. We paid 5 euro a person to have breakfast included every morning, which was great. Standand balkan breakfast with hood options and fresh food. We really liked that this area wasnt very touristy when we went(in august). It felt very home-y and like we were one of the locals. "

Apollonia (Ancient Greek: Ἀπολλωνία κατ᾿ Ἐπίδαμνον or Ἀπολλωνία πρὸς Ἐπίδαμνον, Apollonia kat' Epidamnon or Apollonia pros Epidamnon) was an ancient Greek city in Illyria,[1] located on the right bank of the Aous river (modern-day Vjosë). Its ruins are situated in the Fier region, near the village of Pojani, in modern-day Albania. Apollonia was founded in 588 BCE by Greek colonists from Corfu and Corinth,[2] on a site initially occupied by Illyrian tribes[3] and was perhaps the most important of the several classical towns known as Apollonia. Apollonia flourished in the Roman period and was home to a renowned school of philosophy, but began to decline in the 3rd century AD when its harbor started silting up as a result of an earthquake.
