The staff was super friendly and helpful and would check up on us often to make sure everything was well. The property has a restaurant at the top of the hill that has amazing food and the most gorgeous view of Oia!"

"The view is spectacular here and it is good value. The staff was excellent and welcoming. Get the rooms higher up because the lower level room is in on the popular Santorini walking trail and it can be very crowded and hectic."

"We had a wonderful stay at Avaton Resort & Spa. The views from the hotel are absolutely magnificent, especially during sunset. Watching the sun go down over the caldera was one of the highlights of our trip. The location is also excellent, with beautiful walking paths nearby and within walking distance of Skaros Rock, making it easy to enjoy some of the most scenic hikes in Santorini. "Great space, walkable to Fira, has a shop across the road where you can get drinks, snacks and souvenirs Has the best sunset views so no need to travel. My only thing would be it needs an umbrella or some sort of shade option for the balcony/pool area. Also the pool was not inviting and didn’t feel nice to sit in with all the peeling paint. This was a real let down for the money that we paid "
