"Rooms were very clean and comfortable. I booked online so was given a ground floor handicapped room. If I had known that it was given because I booked online I would have asked for a room with a tub. Otherwise everything was good. The staff was very helpful when I asked about somewhere to eat."
"If you’re ever in the Missoula area, Lolo Hot Springs is but one of a myriad of hot springs up and down the Rockies. Being only +/-25 miles outside of Missoula, one cannot help but feel lost in a wilderness you’re not sure if you know how to get back out of it. Splurge on the rooms attached to the main lodge house (12, I believe). These rooms really have that comfortable, warm, Montana-feel and they are attached to the two indoor, temperature-variant hot pools. Very clean and the “hot” one was just perfect for me at 102F.
There’s a large jug of fresh mountain water. I would suggest maintaining it with ice as much as is feasible. It also wouldn’t hurt to slice up a citrus or two (lime, lemon, orange, etc) into the water or go more savoury with rosemary and cucumbers. Give those pools a “spa” feeling to stay hydrated.
The breakfast is okay, could be better. Though I guess our stay was a tad on the early side of the summer season and thus, basic choices.
There is a bar/restaurant in the next building over. Pretty decent pizzas LOADED with ingredients and cheese. Burgers. Full bar, TVs, pool tables, and gambling machines for your entertainment.
But the most AWESOME amenity is no amenities at all. There is no cable/satellite TV, there is no internet, there is no phone service in any of the guest rooms or cabins. They have a fun throwback library of DVDS you can take to your rooms. There are TVs attached to the players. Besides sex, that’s your entertainment for the evening."
"Staff: The staff are the best! John, the manager assisted with a last minute reservation request to add a day to the beginning of my reservation. He was so kind and friendly. Lexie ensured that my check out immediately followed by checking back I went seamlessly. And Janine, wow! I requested that my room been cleaned half way through my stay and returned to find a note on the counter that Janine would be happy to come back to vacuum if I wanted; she hadn’t vacuumed because she was concerned it would scare my cat. So considerate!! I didn’t catch the name of other staff but every single one of them were friendly, helpful and kind.
Condition, cleanliness and amenities: The building and grounds are well maintained and well kept. The cleanliness of the lobby and my room exceeded expectations. The coffee was good and always seemed to have been freshly made (or I just had really good timing). While I did not take advantage of the grills outside, I did see other guests using the grills and seemingly enjoying grilling. What a wonderful amenity!
I will definitely stay here again!"
