“Firstly i must praise Tristan on reception. Helpful, sorted a problem out for me instantly, and with a smile. Imperial is my favourite place, however i have to mention the public toilets downstairs were a real mess, and our evening meal was disappointing. Lets say not as described and vegetables missing. It will not deter me from returning but it did tarnish our stay a little. Every member of staff amazing apart from Chef.”

“The stork hotel/pub was perfect for our first trip away with our puppy. The staff were friendly and welcoming the meals in the evening were lovely. The only complaint we have was breakfast took over an hr to arrive after we mentioned to them we were still waiting for it & a waitress apologised claiming that it was all her fault. When it did arrive the sausages were dried up the bacon was overdone & the fried eggs were hard. Apart from that everything else was great.”

“Great for a quick overnight stay! Slightly dated, but seemed clean, only issue was that it was an absolute nightmare to flush the toilet! Had to stand there for a few minutes fiddling with the handle to get it to flush!”

“When we arrived 11pm instructions to get into hotel explained very well . When in room couldn’t find remote control for tv .Bed very comfy and large . We were woke up around 4am with the tv turning itself on and off . This kept happening until around 6ish . When we got up open curtains and remote control fell from window very strange . The shower in bathroom needs updated feels dirty shower head spits everywhere . Coffee machine and breakfast nice touch . Looked to speak to someone in morning...

“We stayed here just as a stop over and it was a very small and low double bed in a huge room. It wasnt the cleanest so I was glad I had slippers with me. Shower ceiling was too low for a 6'2 person so my partner had to crouch. The main parts of the hotel looked nice on arrival, but we didnt make use of it. Nice and quiet despite the location.”

“From the moment we arrived till we checked out this hotel delivered. Lovely welcome on arrival, spacious clean room. Comfortable bed, handy fridge, sofa. Delicious buffet breakfast. My preferred eggs were not in the buffet but asked and they were provided no problem. Evening meal was delicious too. Waiting staff very pleasant and helpful. Spa facilities were great. You pay £10 for use of the facilities. Well worth it. Loved the heated beds. Plenty treatments on offer too. Take £1 coin for the...
