“The room looked better than the photos online. It was spotless and everything was just right - the linens, the carpet, the water temperature in the shower. Sam was an amazing host - when there was an issue with the booking and I encountered issues trying to resolve it with the booking platform - she was helpful and reassuring. My stay was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious - loved the granary bread and I forgot to ask Sam about the coffee - exceptional blend, I want to buy some....

“Not a great hotel! Firstly its impossible to get any email/facebook response, they just ignore you On arrival there was a massive line for check in so it took about 40 mins waiting in a hot reception area. Requested a high floor, didnt get one. Room was like a sauna with no air con and no fan. No toilet roll in the room, not even 1. Shower curtain was just stored on the floor Then on the last day we walked up to our room for our key card to not work so had to walk all the way back to...

“The reception experience was not good. It was advertised as bed and breakfast but when I got there, I was told that I had to pay extra for the breakfast and never saw anyone to cook the breakfast if I wanted one.”

“The lady on the front reception desk was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are very clean, a little old fashioned but it's what you expect for this kind of hotel. Can't grumble at the price. Very pleased with our stay”

“When we got there we was upgraded which was really nice. The room was okay the bed Will comfy but from 2 am the noise was horrendous. There were fighting on the corridors what sounded like someone smashing the rooms up we have no sleep at all and had to drive back an hour and a half to get home. “This hotel must have changed ownership since I booked it there was no games room no bar no restaurant bed linen wasn't ironed no tea or coffee in room only kettle with no cups no breakfast and seeing some if the guests it's for homeless people it was clean one of the beds base was just sheets of wood if any one had laid in it it would have broken also said it was on seafront it was 15 minute walk also some residents kicking doors at 2 in the morning shouting till 4.40”
