“Great location, but reception staff leave alot to be desired, I found them very condescending. Breakfast was average. Bedrooms were very stuffy as there wasnt any air conditioning, despite our room being a premier one. I wouldn't stay there again”

“Staff were very welcoming and very polite. Our room was very good and very clean. Only complaint was with the air conditioning which we did not have on, but it still made a noise in the early hours which woke me up. Only other minor issue was the inability on Thursday evening to get a meal in the Martello Bar which was crowded with men attending a function.”

“On day of arrival and also during the stay the reception and restaurant staff was amazing. We booked the stay based on how we were spoken over the phone when contacting the propery prior for some details. Spa facilities clean and fully working, cannot mention a negative comment about the property.”

“Great location for the centre of Canterbury and access to the cathedral, shops and green spaces. Air-conditioning in room a bit noisy, but otherwise room met our needs. Ideally a coffee machine in the room would be better and a mini-bar. What we didn't like was the fact that we had booked a continental breakfast, but you could only order one item from a menu, and coffee/juice and the buffet offered was only cereal and fruit. Not sure how this is continental as would have expected...
