"The room itself (superior room, 2 twin beds, non-smoking) was perfectly adequate, spacious, clean and comfortable (beds), good shower. Would have been perfect had it had a fridge to keep our drinks cool (particularly with the UK heatwaves we have currently) and maybe a few wine glasses would have been useful.
However, when we checked in the man on reception was extremely unhelpful and dismissive, gave us no instructions at all regarding breakfast etc. so it was somewhat disappointing on first...
"The hotel was clean, bed super comfy and shower just right. The staff were also incredible in going above and beyond with their kindness and hospitality - especially the front of house staff (Ben and the lady who looked after the morning)"
