"I wanted someplace that was different than the other boring all-look-the-same hotels. This was an awesome room. We stayed in the family suite. My teenager and pre teen loved their rooms(win!). The kitchen was great! Had everything we needed. I wish we needed to stay another night. Front desk lady was very nice. Pool was warm - my kid didn't like the taste of the water though. (Not that he was drinking it). Overall a great stay!"

"You get what you pay for and we knew that going in. Very quirky old hotel that hasn't been updated in decades, but the old school vibe definitely has character. Hot tub and pool area was clean and the breakfast was decent. The staff checking in were very polite and accomodating. We stayed one night after the House on the rock in a standard room for only $83. If you're on a budget and not to picky this is a great place to lay your head for the night."

"I was looking for a hotel with a pool for the kids, and this was the perfect one. The kids swam all day and rested comfortably in the room at night. Breakfast is standard, but I’d say it’s plentiful. One thing I think is worth mentioning: the lady at the front desk told me that coffee was free all day for guests and that I could let her know when it ran out, so that alone deserves 5 stars from me."
