"Hotel is a fabulous gem. Modern amenities but maintaining the character and history of the hotel. Luggage cart wheels were flat. Might not seem like a big deal until you try to use them! Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Great location."
"The front desk staff when we checked in was so helpful and kind. The outside of the hotel was not updated but a wonderful perk is the vintage rose garden outside of the hotel. Absoulutely beautiful varieties of roses from so long ago. They were breath taking. I would return just to view and smell the roses again. Thank you Super 8!"
"I believe the HVAC for the building or another machine was near my bedroom. The noise was coming between the bathroom and bedroom. You could hear it turn on and off and this would not let me sleep and my daughter who was supposed to take her ACT the next morning. When it was on you could hear the noise.
Staff was friendly, room was clean and breakfast was fine. But do not stay in room 317 if you want to sleep well. Not sure if the whole building is like this. "
"The room smelled like black mold. It didn’t look like or smell like the linen had been changed in months. We couldn’t sleep the 1st night. We went to Walmart to get Fabreze to spray down the bed, bedding, and room in general. When we asked for a clean blanket, we were told blankets weren’t available.
We will never stay there again, nor at any Days Inn."
