"Our refrigerator had no shelves or racks to hold items and didn’t feel cold enough for leftover food storage. We tried several settings to no avail. We left a night early because we were invaded with ants. It was our last night so instead of packing up to change rooms, we just decided to drive home. We were very disappointed as it was our first time staying there."

"Lisa at the front desk was wonderful. The guide tours and assistance on the property was excellent. 5 pm snacks were great however my recommendation would be to do less cracker and various kinds of cracker and chips and add cut up cucumbers, celery and such. Cheese was great but without vegetables it was lacking. Broccoli was there one night but not everyone eats raw broccoli. That was a little disappointing. Hot tub was great, nice and hot and great jets. This is our 2nd time visiting this location and we stay for 7 days each time. Will be back again next year. Oh.... silly thing but certainly annoying... get new designed tag sign to put on the room door handle when you don't want maid service. The tag sign falls off every single time you open or close the door."

"It is an older hotel, however our room had been renovated and was very clean. The people that work there are their greatest assets. We were in town for the Bootleggers tournament and I lost my room card. They replaced it without any issues. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. I booked this hotel because of its close proximity to the Gatlinburg Convention Center. We will stay there again."

"Great location, but I paid more to have the Deluxe Jacuzzi room and the plug was to small which let all the water out. They brought a new plug so the Jacuzzi could be utilized and upon removal the chain broke off the plug and I had to spend hours trying to pry the flat plug with no chain out. The TV remote didn't work, so I had to call for help. The front desk employee got the TV to turn on with a new remote but it didn't have an option to change channels or volume, so we couldn't watch TV.. I wouldn't stay again if it was free. They never offered a discounted price"

"Lovely stay in a beautiful area with a beautiful city view. Staff was very kind, specifically the bartender with red hair, I didn't catch her name, but she was fantastic. I only give 4 stars because the room itself was clearly not maintained well. The coffee pot when we arrived did not work (which they did offer to fix), the door on the dresser covering the fridge was loose so when you would open it to access the fridge, it would drop down a bit and you’d have to lift it to to close it back. There was also some kind water damage on the cover for the ac unit and the bulb for the lamp on the desk was literally dangling down. Overall we loved the location, views, friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is gorgeous from an architectural perspective. I just wish that they maintained the rooms a bit more."

"When we arrived the out door pool wasn't working and we traveled with children. I wish we would have know this so we could have canceled. The indoor pool was so small and very outdated. The rooms were ok. We were told they were just bought out and the new owners were about to put in a lot of money renovating it. The location was fantastic and the price was great. The bathrooms were nice and the bed was very comfortable. The room kept cold and it has a small kitchen and small fridge. For being outdated the price and location were right!"
