Amazing B&B! Our experience exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious and so warm and welcoming. The grounds were beautiful. Breakfast both mornings tasted as good as it looked. We didn’t want to leave. We hope to get back someday!

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

We had a wonderful weekend. The room was beautifully decorated for the holidays. The property was beautiful with deer visiting and the fall colors for the trees. We were close enough to shopping and restaurants but the property was secluded and quiet with a view the lake. Our hosts were so nice and a joy to be around. The breakfast was perfect!

Weekend Getaway

Wonderful bed and breakfast. Peace and quiet abound! The hosts are so sweet and quickly attend to any need. Breakfast was lovely. We enjoyed ours on the front porch every morning. Our sweet was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of outdoor sitting areas to enjoy with comfortable furniture. We will definitely go back!

Perfect little B&B in Azle, Tx!!!

We were in Azle for 2 nights to attend a friends birthday party nearby. This gorgeous place was perfect for our needs and only 5 minutes from the event center we were going to, so the location couldn't have been more convenient. The room was very clean and super comfortable. Our lovely host came to the room to check us in and show us around. We enjoyed this stay VERY much! I would definitely recommend and be very happy to stay there again. :)

Can we live here?

TLDR: Make your reservation today. Apple, Google, Uber, The Old Liberty Schoolhouse ... what do these have in common? They set the standard. They learn from multiple places how be the best, then they make it even better. Quiet, comfortable, and pristine. Every surface spotless, every fold in its place, every appointment carefully set. Class, culture, crisp, and clean. From the soft lighting and aromatic bathroom to the warm hearth and the cozy schoolhouse charm, the Old Liberty Schoolhouse lets you close the door and forget your modern cares while preserving contemporary conveniences. The host and hostess clearly do not believe this to be a mere 'stay' or 'getaway', but rather an experience you will remember in fondness and long to return. Breakfast was so perfectly crafted each day this not-so-morning person awakened early in anticipation. We did not feel merely as guests, but as sojourning friends, welcomed back from distant lands, needing and receiving respite. Accommodating and brilliantly hospitable. Would it be too heavy to say there is such a thing as professional love? That's what the Old Liberty Schoolhouse is. Our only real concern is that so many people will find this jewel that we will have difficulty making future reservations. Is there a place for 6 stars? for 11 on the scale? Exceptionally well done!

Lovely place I will be coming back to

This was by far the most charming and luxurious stay I have had in Texas so far. The owners are so very kind and caring. The communication is impeccable along with the customer service. The room was very cute, clean and upgraded. I felt I was able to feel at home as soon as I stepped through the door. This was such a lovely place to decompress at while on my trip. The area is so lush and green you can’t help but want to explore. The property itself has so much history and charm you can’t help but fall in love with it. The bed was very comfortable along with the pillows and bedding. The robes provided really set the mood for rest and relaxation. The shower was great with marvelous water pressure and the tub was a dream to soak in. The small details is what they focus on here and you sure can tell. The welcome sign and chocolates were a very nice touch and the complimentary mini bar was fabulous and much needed after my travels. All in all I will only be staying here from now on when in this part of the state. And again thank you ma’am for such a lovely and inviting stay I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you.

Property is beautiful and relaxing. Great out door and indoor lounging areas. Bed is comfortable and luxurious, and breakfast is delicious. Zan and Cash are amazing owner/operators. A gem of a find!

I just love finding a little know gem like this quaint B&B. The owners were visible enough to make sure we had everything we needed but we still had plenty of privacy. The setting truly feels like you are miles away from the city even though you aren't. The grounds are beautiful and inviting and the bed is the type you wish you had at your own home.

Perfect 10 Bed & Breakfast Away From DFW

This was a perfect 10! We communicated the day before by phone & text so everything was very clear & concise. Drove in & had covered parking right by our room. Hosts were out & greeted us & directed us to our room. Guest suite was perfect & clean. Had a fridge with a few cold drinks & ice. Mini kitchen had a Keurig coffee maker. Living room had a hide-away couch & chair with ottoman. Dining room with full size TV with satellite & DVD player. Queen size bed & bathroom had walk-in shower. Host gave us some ideas on where to go pickup dinner. If it had not been so hot, we would have eaten it outside. Breakfast was served at 8:30am. We brought down our own coffee & they served us some frozen drinks in the covered patio just outside our door. Breakfast was waffles & fresh fruit & fresh whipped cream with bacon & sausage. Walked around the property & it was beautiful & immaculately kept. We saw deer on the road coming back from dinner so that was a treat! You can see the lake off in the horizon from upstairs. We will definitely be back when it’s cooler & be outside more. There’s many spots to sit out & relax. This was a 1 night getaway for our wedding anniversary & it was perfect. Hosts put out a banner in our sweet & left us a plate of fresh cookies. It was very sweet of them to do that!
