"Beautiful property with direct views of Clearwater Beach which is just across the street. Watched dolphins from our hotel balcony. Excellent for kids with several activities scheduled throughout the day for school aged kids to attend (held in the pool area). Pool was warm, hot tub is large and the hotel is within walking distance to food/shopping. 10-15 minute walk up the beach or up the street on the opposite side of the hotel to places like Frenchy's Rockaway and Crabby's. Watched the sunset into the ocean from Crabby's one night while listening to live music and enjoying dinner. 1 minute walk to the beach. 3 min walk to the pier. Food served at the pool bar is more reasonable than I expected for this location. Pricing was comparable to local restaurants so I didn't feel like I was being gouged by resort prices. Didn't dine at the nicer restaurant on site. Would definitely return! "

"We recently visited Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and stayed with our family of six in a suite at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tampa near Busch Gardens. The room was spacious and worked perfectly for all of us, which made our stay very comfortable. We did run into a small issue in one of the bathrooms, but the hotel handled it quickly and even reimbursed part of our stay, much appreciated gesture. Thank you! For a short family trip, I definitely recommend this hotel. It’s conveniently located near the park and surrounded by plenty of great restaurants, making everything easy and accessible."

"The room was filled with what looked like furniture from a thrift store. All fixtures were rusted, baseboards, and trim were corroded and dirty. The bathroom door was warped. The room door rattled when the wind blew. I called the front desk to get a new room. No one picked up. The only positive is that the sheets smelled like chlorine so we figured the sheets were at least clean. It was definitely one of the worst hotels we ever stayed in. I’m disappointed in Expedia for even listing it."

"This property is unfortunately very dated, that isn’t immediately obvious from the pictures. Also, we were charged for a daily parking fee, this should have been noted at reservation time since the amount disclosed said includes all fees and taxes. "

"The area was OK not much around that would be walkable.. The pool was kind of small and the pool area was definitely small with dated furniture. It was definitely not enough room for all the buildings. The view was very nice. The sunsets were amazing. The food at the pool bar was OK. You can’t swim in the bay"

"My view of the bay was beautiful. The room was was beautiful, however, I could hear my neighbors’ conversation. I had an adjoining room and the doors were not soundproof."
