"The property is well maintained, clean and centrally located, with friendly staff. It is directly across the road from the water and they have a private area with loungers and umbrellas. Outside the backdoor the tram can easily and cheaply take you very close to old Nice. If you gamble, there are two casinos within a 30 to 40 minute walk. I wouldn't necessarily include their breakfast as there are numerous restaurants, bakeries and cafes within 5-15 minutes on the street in back of the hotel to the right (Californie). There are plenty of dinner options on this same stretch, many open late. We especially liked Casa Lasagna and LA Maganan."

"The property was beautiful and and had a belle époque rivaling other historic properties along the main boulevard. The location was prime and across the street from the beach. The room was great and had a king size bed. Breakfast was also wonderful. Although rated as a 3 star hotel, I am surprised it didn’t rate a 4 star designation. My only criticism was they forgot to give me a 4:30 am wake up call, although I checked twice that they had it recorded."

"Very accessible and convenient for beach, town, old town, restaurants and transport. Quiet position and quiet rooms. Lovely balcony. Well serviced and efficient staff. Only downside the double room was fairly small in size"

"A super clean room and well equipped. It was of a good size on the 2nd floor with balcony and garden and sea views. It is a quiet hotly. All the staff were friendly and helpful with the fromt desk staff being particularly helpful and lovely. The breakfast was poor. The choice was OK but many times were not refreshed. The breakfast room was small and very busy at times"

"Gorgeous hotel, amazing location, staff was attentive, but requests were forgotten a couple of times resulting in multiple calls. AC didn’t work and supposedly we had a maintenance visit scheduled but no one ever came. Oh, well. House cleaning was top-notch. Even with a few hiccups we would probably stay here again. Recommend Rivoli rooms as they are perhaps a bit more modern."
