"My husband and I stayed here in May for 2 nights. We arrived late at night and were made very welcome by the reception staff. Our room was lovely, with a very large bed, a small fridge, a safe, complimentary water and a city view which looked out onto a dead-end road making it extremely quiet, particularly at night time sonce there was no passing traffic. There is also an ironing room on the third floor, free for guests to use, as well as luggage storage.
Breakfast was varied and very pleasant, and we sat outside both mornings to eat, overlooking the promenade. However, unfortunately by 9.40am on our second morning , the scrambled eggs, sausage & bacon had all gone and were not replenished which was disappointing given that breakfast was served until 10am.
The hotel itself is a lovely building, you can clearly see its palacial features.
We did not drink from the bar, although we did note it was expensive compared to the surrounding bars, probably to be expected for a hotel in Nice.
The staff were very helpful and attentive.
An excellent value for money option right on the promenade. We would definitely consider staying here again."
