"We stayed at Eurostars Porto Douro for three nights in December and had a very pleasant experience. The breakfast was a highlight, with an excellent variety including hot dishes like eggs and roasted vegetables, fresh fruit and vegetables, cheeses, yogurt with toppings, pastries, breads, juices, and good coffee. Our room had a lovely river view, and we appreciated being able to open the windows for fresh air. The staff were very attentive. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay."

"The hotel location is in a convenient, scenic location, which is perfect for exploring Porto and the wider Gaia area. Facilities are excellent with a good varied breakfast and thoroughly clean room. I arrived in Porto following a 3 night stay in Lisbon, during which I was unfortunately pickpocketed, resulting in theft of my phone. The staff at Porto River Soul Hotel were excellent in understanding my situation after I explained and they provided me with telephone facilities for any calls I required to make. Overall they made a difficult trip slightly easier and also provided me with recommendations on things to do in Porto. It's a shame I couldn't enjoy this trip so much due to circumstances which couldn't be helped but the staff at this hotel deserve a lot of praise for how they treated me. I would definitely recommend staying here, for the wider facilities of the hotel, it's location and value for money, as well as the friendly service which is provided to the guests. "

"Staff were very courteous, we were greeted at the Front Door and our luggage taken in and shown around the various guest areas of the hotel (Bar, Restaurant, etc.) then shown up to room and shown room facilities (Air Con, TV, etc.)"

"Convenient parking was the reason we chose to stay here, the cost was 20E per day and includes valet service. Location makes it easy enough to explore Gaia and Porto by foot, just prepare for steep inclines on both sides of the Douro. Uber, taxis, others methods of getting around are available also. Hotel was great, accommodations were very nice and comfortable, breakfast provided excellent options for varying palates."

"Everything was perfect, the hotel was stunning and we were so well looked after from the moment we stepped foot into it. Super clean and organised, extreme attention to detail and the staff is amazing and so welcoming. The breakfast is wonderful. Wouldn’t change a single thing and will definitely be back. "

"Beautiful hotel located in a very convenient area. Easily walkable to main areas as well as to the bus stop to take you up the coast to Foz area. The hotel is also located on a pedestrian only street which was lovely. The pool and saunas (dry and wet options) were exceptional in making my stay that much more relaxing. It rained and was windy during part of my stay and the hotel had very sturdy umbrellas available for guests. Very convenient as I did not need to purchase one for my stay. The hotel staff was also very welcoming and accommodating. They went above and beyond assisting me when the elevator was not working to bring me up to my floor after using the spa amenities. They updated my keys, tested them, and brought them directly to my room. It was very much appreciated! They were also able to store my luggage before and after check in, allowing me to take full advantage of exploring the beautiful city. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend to other travellers!"
