"I loved this place! It was located in a very quiet part of greater Tokyo and it was really nice and easy to walk around the neighborhood. I especially liked how close to it was to different restaurants and Oji Station. "We started our Tokyo stay at Other Space for a week. We liked the digital code for opening the door (no worrying about where you put the key). Amenities were fantastic and I found the futon bed on the itami platform very comfortable. My partner loved the high pressure shower. The rooftop is worth a visit at night to see Skytree Tower lit up, as well as Senso-ji Temple. The room was cleaned daily with replenishing of water. We opted for the breakfast, which was a good way to start the day without getting too filled up (a lot of variety but small portions). Perfect location. We would definitely stay again."

"We booked a room with two beds for two adults and two kids. Our stay here was fantastic! The room was a bit cramped, but we spent most of our time exploring Asakusa. It was a comfortable place to stay. I loved the view of the Skytree, Senso-ji temple, and the street food area (I don’t think that’s considered Nakamise street). The view was stunning. Room necessities like shampoo, brush, and toothbrush were all located in the main lobby, which was super convenient. We could use the self-service option instead of constantly calling the front desk. There was a water dispenser on every floor and coffee in the lobby. My feedback is around the cleaning. We asked for cleaning on day two, and it seemed like the garage was the only thing taken out. The room was full of girls, and we did our best to pick up the hair on the floor, but it really needed to be vacuumed. On day three, the room was cleaned, but we had to request it again via the TV process (which was also cool). Outside of that, there was too much furniture for a room that size. I would recommend removing the big chair and coffee table. Location 10/10 Amenities 10/10 Cleanliness 9/10 Room 8/10 Staff 10/10"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Marumi Hotel Tokyo Asakusa. The room was very clean and, compared to all the other hotels we stayed at during our trip to Japan, it was surprisingly spacious. It was nice to have a little extra room to relax and organize our luggage. The staff were always present, friendly, and helpful. They were especially helpful when we had questions about arranging luggage transportation to our next hotel in Kyoto, which made that part of our trip much easier. The location was also very convenient. There was a laundry just around the hotel, which was really helpful during our trip, and there were several restaurants nearby that stayed open late, so it was easy to find something to eat even after a long day of sightseeing. There was also a scooter/bike rental spot right outside the building that you could use through the LUUP app, which was another convenient option for getting around. The only minor drawbacks for us were the toiletries. The shampoo, conditioner, and body soap made my scalp and skin feel a little dry. The toilet paper was also quite thin, although I'm not sure if that's common in bathrooms throughout Japan. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay and really appreciated the cleanliness, spacious room, helpful staff, and convenient location. We would definitely consider staying here again when visiting Tokyo."
