I love this hotel. Over the last few years I’ve stayed here several times. I like the atmosphere and how peaceful and unhurried everything is. It’s within walking distance of restaurants and the Strand. When I visit Galveston this is where I choose to stay, Beautiful clean hotel.

The hotel is like walking back in time, but with modern updates. Very comfortable and laidback. The A/C made a bit of noise. Probably just needs a bit of maintenance. Overall we had a great time and are well rested. I would recommend this great hotel to anyone. The rooftop bar is a blast. Super cool.

The property was located in the center of town. Only 1 block from Main street and two blocks from the water. Lots of shops and restaurants.The roof top bar was great,even at 103 degrees it was shady with a great breeze really enjoyed the view.

Our family was taking a cruise out of Galveston and this property is literally two blocks away from the cruise terminal so it was great to spend the previous night in old town Galveston very nice and then the next morning we just walked to our terminal for the cruise line, everyone was very helpful. Very nice. The rooms were great. The breakfast was incredible. Highly recommend recommended.
