"My room was facing in to the shopping centre, which meant it was very noisy and there was “elevator music” being played constantly that I could hear. I couldn’t open my window because of the noise and I could t even open my curtains as there’s a restaurant directly opposite! The air conditioning was non existent. There was also no gym, but one was mentioned when I checked when booking. Bar prices were also extortionate - £16 for a whisky and coke! "

"Perfectly situated by the train station. Only had breakfast but it was perfect. Everything was kept stocked up and tables were cleaned fairly fast. 8:30 breakfast on a weekday proved to be very busy but apart from finding a table, you wouldn’t have known. Our room was unbelievable, tea and coffee provided plus a coffee machine. Microwave and toaster in the room and a fridge, there was even a selection of wine/beer glasses. Shared a king bed with my daughter and didn’t even know she was there it was so wide!! The only mistake they made was in the attention to cleanliness in the bathroom. Toothpaste splashes on both mirrors, hand prints on the shower door and a towel over the radiator which, by the amount of muck on it, hadn’t been touched in a long time. Not worth worrying about and certainly won’t put me off going again."

"Quebecs is a beautiful hotel in a historic building that is full of charm. The staff is fabulous, going out of their way to make guests comfortable. I was hoping to stay in a room that I had stayed in on a previous visit that I had fallen in love with and they went out of their way to help me identify the room and put me in it again for this stay. There is also a wonderful French restaurant in the basement. "

"Room and staff spot on location very good for food drinks and shopping, train station 2 minute walk. Parking at Q park very simple and secure 4 minute walk to the hotel. Breakfast good but have had better but definitely 100% will return."
