“This was a lovely one night visit. The sStaff was welcoming, the restaurant was great for dinner and the breakfast was excellent. We would love to go back!”

“The Shire is in a wonderful location and I would recommend for a short stay. They are in the midst of a renovation and the rooms and exterior are nice and well kept. My only issue was that the coffee bars were not well stocked all the time with the same variety and the ice machine was not well stocked as it ran out of water to produce ice during our 2 night stay. Otherwise, the place and location is wonderful.”

“Check in was super easy, room was absolutely spotless and decorated very nicely. Beds are extremely comfortable, and amenities provided gave everything you would need. Located perfectly between Killington and Woodstock. Lots of bars and restaurants in the area. Probably one of the cleanest motels I’ve ever stayed in, would definitely recommend. ”

“The property manager greeted us when we walked in and she was extremely friendly and kind. The inn was charming and had a homey feel, and the rooms were very clean and well maintained with awesome amenities.”

“gym was well equipped the woman's changing room reeked of urine as the toilets were not flushing. Everything was musty and smelled awful. The steamer room was closed , the heated pool entrance was filthy The Mountain View was exceptional even though the weather was horrible ”

“Ski vacation. Clean and very accommodating for ski equipment. Older building that has been well cared for with rooms that are simply decorated and updated. Fridge, micro and counter eating area perfect for making simple breakfast and eating leftovers. Easy walking access to restaurants even in sloppy winter conditions. ”

“Plenty of space, storage, and nice kitchen. Room and bathroom was clean, bed was comfortable, and the heated pool with a view of the mountain was a huge plus after a long day of skiing”
