"Take it from a deeply experienced road tripper: this has got to be one of the best road traveler hotels in the USA. No matter if you prioritize amenities, food and beverage options, kid-friendly environs, or cleanliness, this is your place, because the Beachwood Drury prioritizes them all. You will not be disappointed."
"Hotel staff were very kind and helpful. Rooms were clean, hotel is a basic , could use some upgrades , but no complaints.. the pool area was closed, but we weren’t there to use it anyway. Would staycation"
"This is an older property that received a makeover/reboot in the last decade. It has plenty of charm, including staff, though it might not seem as modernized as some might prefer.
Regardless of all that, there are two major draws here: if you like the cocktail hour or if you happen to be a lap swimmer, this place is a standout. The pool is especially impressive, and attracts swimmers from the area. The scene in the evening was quite lively.
The “morning after” scene was a relative letdown: it appears to have been a business decision not to do much more than coffee in the lobby, which seemed a shame. Also, although there appear to be breakfast options nearby, there wasn’t a very viable way to reach them on foot.
Still a pleasant surprise overall."
"Stayed here 2 nights on the way to Niagara Falls. We got a nice sized room with 2 beds, desk, and a chaise chair. Bathroom was clean with good lighting. Hooks to hang towels and grab bars for safety. Even had tub for my youngest to take his bath. Housekeeping came everyday to make beds and replenish towels. Pool area was popular with kids and hot tub for couples. Needed to ask for towels. Breakfast was okay with little omelets, sausage, fresh fruit and waffles. Checkout was easy. Only downside was one elevator was broken so you had to wait awhile. Hotel had free parking and was within 25 minutes of downtown attractions."
