"The room was clean, the balcony was huge and there was nice mountain view. The property is very convenient to everything needed in my opinion. Train, multiple local restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, cable car, etc. I didn’t love the fact that we had to remove our own bed linens and clean and put away all dishes before we left, but it is what it is. (Our dishwasher took hours so we had to wash everything the night before and by hand the morning we left) Also we stayed 4 nights and were only given I think 4 bath towels and 4 smaller towels total for the entire stay for 3 people. I think I read somewhere we would have had to pay for additional towels."
"We loved our stay here. The staff was fantastic and the food was incredible. Yes, the hotel itself is a little outdated but that’s part of its charm. I was a little taken aback at first but thoroughly enjoyed myself. Our waitress was phenomenal and the host/owner was very helpful and anxious to make your stay pleasurable. The scenery was beautiful. Would absolutely stay here again. "
"Staff was hands down the most kind we encountered! Very helpful and willing to answer questions. Rooms were well equipped and breakfast was included. This place was amazing. 5 min walk to trains and staff gave you a city pass to utilize during your stay. Room was cozy and clean. Loved the meringue cookies in the room! Great location."
"Our three-night stay at the REKA hasilberg Hotel in Switzerland was nothing short of a nightmare, marking the most appalling hotel experience my family and I have ever endured. From the moment we arrived, the staff—receptionists, bell boys, and room service alike—treated us with blatant rudeness and contempt. The receptionist greeted us with a sneer, setting a hostile tone that persisted throughout our stay. My wife, three children, and I were consistently belittled, looked down upon, and subjected to outright insults, including vile racist remarks that left us feeling humiliated and unsafe. The staff’s discriminatory behavior was not only unprofessional but deeply offensive, creating an environment where we felt unwelcome at every turn. To add insult to injury, they attempted to overcharge us for parking, a service explicitly included in our Expedia booking confirmation. When we challenged this fraudulent charge, the staff responded with aggressive threats and further insults, escalating an already intolerable situation. Basic requests, such as extra towels or assistance with luggage, were met with eye-rolls or flat-out refusal, showcasing a level of service that can only be described as pathetic. The rooms were barely passable, but the staff’s arrogance, prejudice, and incompetence overshadowed any chance of salvaging our stay. This hotel’s toxic culture and deplorable treatment of guests made our family vacation a distressing ordeal. I would rate this hotel negative stars "

"We specifically booked this hotel as the property advertised Laundry (that the guests can use). We were greatly disappointed as the was the one stop that we paid slightly more than our budget and went slightly out of way just for the laundry. It was also the only night we had booked for laundry during our whole trip and we could only bring a backpack.
The hotel was also a little weird in that the hall lights on the different floors went off overnight. We had to get up early to catch a train and went out our door and everything was dark. We had to use our phone flashlights.
Overall, it was okay."
