“Good availability for parking, but car park could do with being resurfaced. Easy to check in and room was nice - very comfortable bed, a few quirks in the bathroom with a very low mirror over the sink that has you bent over to use and you can’t open the window to let out the steam. We had breakfast and dinner whilst here. Both meals were excellent- good choice and very tasty. Good selection of drinks as well. Was a good base for a visit to the area and would recommend ”

“It might sound like a cliché and a bit over the top but I think this is one of the best hotels in the world. The location is great, ample parking, the location next to the river gives the hotel a great atmosphere. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and the service matches, even when the restaurant is very busy. A nightcap after dinner on the terrace by the river on a warm summer evening! What more could you want? Highly recommended!”

“Hi there, I was there for a one-night-stay (some funerals). The staff was nice and welcoming! The bedroom was comfortable and spacious with an excellent air-con with unforgiving hot conditions (heatwave) outside. After a train-trip impacted by the hot temperatures, it was great to arrive in this haven! Next morning, Breakfast was excellent. There are a few nice places around, though I arrived on a Monday evening, so many restaurants were closed. The hotel is well located at walking distance...
