“The owner was very friendly and the property was an interesting old building. However, our room was a bit out-dated and the shower unit was a bit mouldy. Also, breakfast was a bit disappointing with powdered scambled eggs and tinned tomatoes.”

“Amazing place, people accommodation and food, and let’s not forget the farm shop! I won’t go in to detail just go stay there and see for yourself. Truly wonderful and will be back one day. Thanks Ian 👍”

“Cosy traditional b&b room above the pub itself, surprisingly quiet (never heard a sound) even though the pub below is a very popular place and full every night. Nice breakfast, good evening meal, can’t fault the place. Patrick and the locals were very friendly, we happily chatted amongst them all evening on both nights we stayed. All in all a very good time, would we stay again? Absolutely no problem at all.”

“So clean, our room was immaculate so were all the other areas of the hotel. Really lovely stay, fabulous breakfast and dinner!”

“Street is missing a trick. The town is crying out for a great, modern hotel with the facilities to challenge what is currently available - it would be an absolute winner. I chose Mullions simply because of the limited options for overnight stays in the area. Unfortunately, the room itself was incredibly tired. “On arrival the reception was awful with staff unable to access records but their attitude was very off hand towards us. The room was clean but badly set up. For instance, the double bed was only accessible from one side; there was nowhere for storage of cases etc. and the only area to hang clothes was a row of five hooks, three of which overhung the box on which the kettle and cups etc. were kept; the shower cubicle was missing one of its two doors; the sink in the toilet was so restricted by a...

“My two adult daughters and I recently needed to spend one night in this area of Somerset. The Old Manor House is conveniently situated for easy access to all areas around Axbridge, Weston-super-Mare and Burnham on Sea and is reasonably priced. It provided us with a large and very comfortable family room, with plenty of space, the usual coffee/tea facilities, a mini fridge - with fresh milk available from the downstairs lobby - and a lovely en suite shower room. Downstairs, we did not use the...
