“Expedia listing did not say the room I booked was basically a basement prison cell without the benefit of a window. Horrible. No one answers the phone at this property. When you call the number on Google you get charged, even if you hang up the moment you hear the voice saying you’ll be charged. Car Park blocked by bad parker , despite telling the front desk, car did not move so I had to park off site. Never stay at any hotel managed by this chain for the sketchy phone system alone. “I highly recommend this hotel. Very friendly and professional staff. Every member of staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. An excellent choice of breakfasts included in the price. The restaurant was excellent in the evenings. The location is fantastic with wonderful views of the beautiful Peak countryside.”
