"Rooms vary. Last night, 127 had really hot water in the shower compared to two different ones I experienced on recent visits. Generally clean but this morning I woke up bitten, so presuming bed bugs. Previous trip, the chair had a dangerously wobbly leg (reported on checkout) which could potentially tip you out when leaning back. Every stay I've had to return to reception to ask for a towel as housekeeping didn't complete their job. My stay is always overnight as it's closest and cheapest to the airport as I'm in transit to and from Tuvalu. Overall it suits me for the convenience."

"Like: very nice local staff Dislike: we came for ITF tennis tournament however unlike other tournaments hotel around the world, this hotel does not honor the tournament rate published on ITF website, and they cut off that tournament rate more than 2 weeks before the 1st tournament . Players book after that cut off date had no choice but have to pay a higher fee as there is no other good hotels around. This is a bit disappointing however understand this hotel is very popular."

"Kitchen staff were very helpful and friendly. But the front desk staff were not very helpful. Room was clean but TV and wifi were not working properly Location was too far and roads were full of potholes."

"We truly enjoyed our stay and had a wonderful time together as a family. The accommodation was lovely, and we appreciated the overall experience. Although there was some loud entertainment from a wedding reception during our stay, we completely understood that it was a special occasion. It certainly did not take away from the wonderful time we had. We would happily return on our next trip and look forward to staying here again. Thank you for a memorable stay!"

"My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Belo Vula resort! To get to the property you must take a ferry boat from Lautoka to Bekana Island. There was no extra charge for that ferry. You have your own bure (bungalow) right off the beach, about 25 yards from the ocean! Beautiful views! Life jackets and kayaks are free to use on your stay. The grounds are lovely and well maintained. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend staying at this location!"

"The apartment was good for our needs. But my friend felt unsafe as the bathroom window safety screan was partially damaged the fly sceen was off. Mould in the showers. Lots of mould, not just a little. There was Mould on the ceiling about a foot round with a 5cm hole. And cement in the window frame which made it hard to open/close the window. Dirty doors. No toilet roll holder. Shower hose was spraying everywhere except on my body. We decided to stay because, better the devil you know than the devil you don't. The staff were so lovely. Apparently the rooms were being renovated. But we where charge full price. No shampoo or conditioner available. "
