Sitting in traffic, moving so slow, I look up to the sky when the sun is suddenly blot out and see this.

I grabbed my phone and took a quick picture, forgetting about it for hours until much later when I looked and saw I got the picture at the exact moment I needed--the sun hidden behind the steeple and giving the church an angelic glow.

A late afternoon in November. I spent most of the day walking around the city. After 15 minutes of trying and failing to get a cab back to the hotel, I decided to keep walking. Glad I did. I ran into this amazing church on Broadway with beautiful gardens and breathtaking architectural details. The inside is pretty amazing, too. This was a great hotel, the room was a decent size. Very clean. We received fresh towels and clean sheets every day. The price was very affordable for a 3 night stay. Right outside of Times Square, many restaurants accessible and shopping stores. I definitely stay here again.
