Easy train to Garmisch. Quiet and staff were so friendly and helpful. They even had stamps for sale for our letters and postcards. Breakfast was excellent with a big variety of foods, even an omelet/egg station. Train to Eibsee/Zugspitze is a mini block away and takes you right there (train passes provided to us as part of our stay). Great experience and would return

Wonderful, quiet place to stay!

Wonderful property and a fantastic location within the area. Easy access to the train that goes to Garmisch as well as the Eibsee and Zugspitze. Not as busy of an area as Garmisch which we enjoyed. Great amenities and restaurant.

Amazing day! The staff was the best part. We asked for an ice machine, but they don’t have them at hotels in Europe. A very nice staff member immediately helped us and ran and got us ice for our water bottles for the day. Went out of his way. Amazing place to stay!

Room was average, not very clean. Had a weird odor. Did not have an iron. Parking was also horrendous. By 7pm all parking on the premises was completely taken. No AC (which I know is common in Europe). Area around the property is beautiful. Decent location.

Nice room and dog friendly, staff were nice and helpful. Dinner was also good and they were accomodating for gluten free. Location is very convenient for Zugspitze and hiking. We unfortunately were staying only one night and our hike second day was rained off so we would like to return for longer next time to explore the area more.

Fun place to stay.

They have a great pool and awesome sauna. The breakfast is well done. You are right at the trail just outside the door to go hiking. You get local transport discount. View is awesome!! Room was average but the rest was great!!

It is a nice hotel which is near the train station and bus stop within 3 minutes walk distance. Hotel is situated in a quiet environment. Users please be reminded to ask Hotel to send you QR code in advance. It facilitates to free ride to local train and bus. Morning breakfast are diversified with meat, eggs, cereals, cheese jams and bread etc, certainly fill your stomach quality needs.

Fabulous location and great facilities

Location and facilities are what make this hotel. It sits on a junction of some of the best walking routes, at the foot of the Zugspitze. If you have to pay for parking then euro 9.50 isn't excessive. Breakfast is lavish and seat yourself and a serve yourself buffet. If I have one gripe it's that room cleaning can be late in the day. Wellness area spacious separate good size pool and gym. Bus and train stops about 10 metres from the hotel.

Some staff members were most knowledgeable & helpful. Unfortunately this could not be said for all staff. One receptionist was seemingly unable to speak English. The cleaning lady who was very friendly spoke good English, begs the question why someone behind reception @ a 4 Star hotel was seemingly unable to speak English, although I have the impression she just didn't want to!

The renovated rooms are good, the non renovated ones you shouldn't offer for that price (they are old, look cheap and a lot of broken things are in the room). We booked a renovated room but first got a non renovated one. Had to complain and then could change the room. In the renovated room the W-LAN didn't work and wasn't fixed within 3 days, beside that the service was good. The location is very good and we really liked the breakfast.
