Nothing better than a sunrise hike into the Grand Canyon!

Spring is a great time of the year for a canyon hike! The spring cacti are blooming, no snow on the trail and the heat is much more tolerable than in summer months. we visited the park a couple weeks ago and actually required a light jacket and pants in the am and late evening.

This is a view of the south rim from Phantom Ranch! Such a beautiful and magical place!

Clean room, cool setting. Glad we stayed here!! Only slight issue is the fitted sheet is a touch too small for the bed and it continuously came off through the night.
