โI rarely take the time to write reviews, but this incredible place truly deserves the spotlight.
This stunning, spacious, and romantic home is perched on the cliffs of Portugalโs west coast, just 15 minutes from Sintra. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Alfie and Miguel, who greeted us with the kind of genuine hospitality that made us feel like long-lost family.
Alfie prepared an incredible breakfast each morning (included in the stay), and the entire experience felt like...
โWe liked the house and the rooms very much. The people working there were always very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, but I wish there would have been more options for eggs. The pool downstairs was nice, but a bit cold. But our girls enjoyed it anyway :) The house and surrounding itself were very quiet and peaceful. It was really nice!โ
โThis was a great place to explore Sintra and surrounding towns and beaches. The property was clean and very nice, excellent outdoor space, and very very peaceful. I wish we had more time to relax on the property but we were only in Sintra for two days. Next time weโll plan for a few days to chill at the pool. Highly recommended. โ
โQuinta Velhaโs a gem tucked in Sintraโs hills, about a 10-minute walk from Pena Palace and the village center. Itโs a small, upscale B&B on two hectares of forest, with a cool mix of old Portuguese charm and modern touchesโthink restored 1800s beams paired with sleek furniture. We stayed in one of the six suites, which felt cozy and private, like a boutique hideaway. The place was redone in 2019, so everythingโs fresh but still has history.
The lounge is great for chilling, with a fireplace...
