"We came by car and there was ample space to park. We had a warm and friendly check in and the member of staff showed us to our room. The room was clean, well furnished and quite large. We had an excellent Lamb curry and drinks in the Bistro which was very tasty. In the morning our welcome again was friendly and efficient. "They do have a full service restaurant, and I'm sure room service. Spido {sp} as morning maitre d' is very pleasant and accommodating. However mgmt decision to put signs in rooms, indicating a £30 fine for bringing food into the room, seems counter productive to hospitality, and of letting the guests nest."

"A big castle of a place with a view of the valley, in hilly area between Bath and Bradford. You need a GPS to navigate the roads. With that, it’s a short but challenging drive to the centre of Bath. Public areas are nice, good patio, room was fine, adequate parking. Floors were a bit of a jumble and although there was an elevator you always needed to lift your luggage up half a flight."
