Not dirty but older and worn, building. The room itself was cute and clean, awkward bathroom set up but super comfy bed made up for that! Safe area with lots of food options nearby. Didn’t try the on-site breakfast, appreciated the snacks/bar options at desk though!

Close to local bus stop for convenience to get to bus station for day trips. Multiple eating and drinking establishments within 4 block walking area. We had three people in our room and each person had their own twin bed. Staff was helpful in getting taxi to airport.

The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming and the room was clean and warm. I got a very good price on the room for when I stayed. I had a couple of issues with my room hence my low rating. Firstly later into the evening there seemed to be a smokey smell in the bathroom - like someone smoking nearby and you're getting the residual smoke smell. I closed the bathroom door which helped but in the early hours there seemed to be some of this smell in the bedroom, but by morning it had gone. I don't know if there was some common ventilation in the bathroom and someone was smoking in a connected room. Secondly, it was really pretty noisy with noise from another room - shuffling around and banging of doors. I got to sleep then woke up at 1.30pm and this noise went on until 3.30pm. The site says the rooms are soundproofed but this wasn't the case with the one I was in. These two things made my stay a lot less pleasant than I'd hoped it would be.

Could not have had a better experience. The staff were so welcoming and accomodating. They assisted us in a really early check in. Their breakfast is a traditional scottish breakfast and was delicious. Highly recommend staying here.
