"Great hotel in a rather stunning location. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and easy to navigate. The spa facilities were really good with an innovative walkway over the canal. The swimming pool was bigger than average spa pools. Well equipped gym. The location was easily accessible for the city centre and lovely walks along the canal. This area is liberally spread with numerous bars and eateries to suit all palates. Had a wonderful spa weekend with great friends, we all had a brilliant time...

"We have stayed here before. This time check in was thankfully very quick which has not always been the case. Why they cannot get consistent with this I don't know. Restaurant particularly good, partly because we sat outside on the terrace in the fine weather. "

"It was our second time staying here, because it's location is very good if you're attending an event at the resorts world arena or using the train to go into Birmingham, both a short walk. We like having free use of the leisure facilities during our stay, pool, gym sauna steam room and jacuzzi. Our room was right next to the main road so we kept our window shut as my partner is a light sleeper and you could not hear it and we were ok but I think it would have been too hot for some. "I didn’t stay here , we arrived for concert at Hampden park , only to find out hotel was closed to public , on a government contract . Had to return home on train with suitcase and missed concert and mini break in Glasgow . "
